Valentines Day!

Today kids celebrated Valentines Day at St Peter Academy. They had a dance party, made many awesome heart crafts and a kissy fish project and received a ton of Valentines from their school friends. Valentines has become like Halloween, many crafty cards & candy treats sent home in their handmade Valentine bag. Kids were ecstatic looking through all their Valentines and seeing what their friends had created.
After Dinner, we had our family Valentines Day---If I had known they were going to receive so much candy in school I would have forgone the heart shaped chocolate box and heart candies. Karl came home with flowers for Maeve which she was so happy about and we gave the kids a Rapunzel doll and Flynn Rider one too--in anticipation for Disney on Ice:Dare to Dream about Tangled the movie that we are seeing next week
.
Happy Kids, Happy Parents and looking forward to a quiet dinner celebration with Karl tonight! Its is 7pm yet??

Kids looking through treats after school--gotta love Liam's hat head!

Sweetheart Ball

Kids had their first dance, a Sweetheart Ball. When we asked them if they would like to attend the dance they jumped with joy and were so excited to wear a Princess Dress, and Liam couldn't wait to wear his tie and dancing shoes.
The event was a huge turnout and kids were overwhelmed at first but slowly relaxed and enjoyed every minute. Maeve was greeted by her friend Colin, who told her she looked beautiful and they held hands and danced with smiles. Colin's little sister and Liam tried to chime in but the two-some only had eyes for one another.
The highlight of the night was kids up on stage in front of DJ dancing to "who let the dogs out". I love St Peter Academy, it really felt like a family/community last night with a huge turnout--lots of happy dancing kids, and lots of happy drinking parents!

Groundhogs Day

And even after a mild January, looks like we have 8 more weeks of Winter according to Mr Groundhog! Did he know it was 60 degrees yesterday??

I have been neglected the blog, not intentionally, but I just don't have the time.
My New Years Resolution for 2011 was to create and be consistent with a blog and for 2012 I decided to start another business where I can where sparkly jewels and have fun! I am a Stella & Dot Stylist--this is a boutique style jewelery company that is sold through in home trunk shows or online. I have been to many shows and fell in love with so many pieces each time that I decided to take the leap and become a stylist.

January went by so quickly. I still had the winter blues, but we still havwn't really seen winter yet, compared to the three blizzards we had last January. We had one quick snowstorm of 3 inches and I took the kids sledding, we had a blast--I think I had more fun & almost peed while sledding I was laughing so hard. Karl took a trip to Ireland to see Billy, Deirdre & Helen and to spend time with Neil & Lou--he had an awesome time, much deserved.

Kids and I have been busy with school, work, playdates, dance, Irish Step, Learn to Skate and just having fun.

Below is a picture of us sledding...hope we can do it again real soon.
