Heartbeat Of Home Workshop

What a big Day Maeve had today. The Heartbeat of Home ( produced by Riverdance) is in Boston for 2 weeks. Karl and I saw the show last night with Lois and Jerry--the step dancing was phonominal. They offered a free workshop to dancers in the Boston area to come join the Heartbeat of Home lead dancers for a two hour workshop. They separated the kids into groups, taught them a dance, had a Q&A session, and let them receive autographs and a ton of photos. What an experience for them. Most of them started dancing around age 5, one guy started at age 12 and won the world championhip just a few years later. They are so talented. Maeve was "star struck" as were her KOBA dancer friends.

Skiing at Sugarloaf--kids first time!

Alana, Paul and kids asked our family to join them at Paul's parents ski home in Sugarloaf Maine. We had an awesome time. Chilled out with good friends, and we all had a blast skiing. Kids went to ski school for half-day with Alair &  Karl also took a lesson. We picked kids up from ski lesson and skied runs together. What an awesome family sport--hope we can do it more often throughout the years! My fondest childhood memories were skiing with my family and friends at Mt Snow--hoping to get there next year.

100 days of school!

Kids were so excited for this day to come!! Mrs Donaghue asked that they bring in 10 items in groups of 10 and give clues for their items placed in brown bags. Maeve chose gems, which sparkled, were beautiful & colorful. Liam chose zingo sight words, which were hard, had letters and were part of a game.

They had a great day, counting, making hats, writing to 100, playing games etc!

Valentines Day-/Sweetheart Ball

Kids had a great time writing out Valentines to their friends and getting some treats from us.

We also went back to St Peter's for their Sweetheart Ball. They loved seeing Mrs Walsh, Ms Tia, Mrs Donovan, Mrs Carthas and there old school friends! Aw!
