Lots of fun things have taken place at the end of February and most of March. Of course some unpleasant things as well, colds, more colds and ear infections.

We had some spring-like days at the beginning of March and I took Maeve & Liam to Castle Island to test drive their new scooters they received for Christmas. They were in heaven scooting around like no one's business. Maeve surprised me with her balance and confidence and Liam scooted away happily.

Took the kids bowling with their friend Charlie. They had a blast, throwing the balls and taking balls from every lane and knocking down the pins. 3 years old and bowling balls=fun times.

The firetruck was the big hit here Kids Fun Stop, an inside playground. Liam had fun driving the fire truck, asking me to be his passenger and wearing the hat like a true fireman. A few nights there later, Karl put the kids to bed and Liam said "Daddy are you going to wear your vest at work tomorrow" and Karl said "yes" and Liam asked "why do you wear a vest" and Karl said "to keep safe", Maeve chimed in and said "you wear a vest so you don't get burned" and Liam said "Maeve, fireman wear vests so they don't get hurt and get burned by the fire". We thought it was so cool how they can put it all together and love how they carry-on conversations together.

Another warm St Paddy's Day. We spent it on a new playground and kids were all smiles as they spent the majority of the day outside. Yay, Spring! Karl spent the majority of the night drinking pints up the road, yay for boys night out.

Mimi bought Maeve a dress and it came with a doll dress as well. Maeve tried on the dress and didn't want to take it off all day. Later that night I came home from shopping for some Spring clothes and asked Liam to try on some new things. Liam asked if his monkey had a special outfit too like Maeve's doll.

And, the best part about March was my four day girls ski trip to Loon Mountain. I hadn't skied in 4 or 5 years and it was just perfect. Fun weekend. Karl was a saint and kept kids super busy with train rides, swimming, a visit to the science museum and trampoline place, what a fun Dad. I came home and Liam gave me a big hug that night and smelled my neck and said "you smell perfect". Talk about a little love, so darn cute!
