Halloween Fun

Halloween came so quickly this year with our family spending two weeks prior in Ireland. We had our first Halloween Party at Sarah & Cory's before we let with over 30 kids and twins were able to wear pink bat girl and muscle batman costumes and loved it! They were so cute and are looking so big:(

Upon our return home from Dublin, we hit the Spooky walk at Castle Island and met our friends Isabel and Selina.  Maeve & Liam decided to wear their skeleton costumes Nana bought them at Tesco.

We missed our pumpkin float event this year, but carved pumpkins at home--spiderman and kitty cat --and roasted pumpkin seeds with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, yummy.

Today, kids had the annual Halloween parade at school down Broadway and enjoyed ice cream sundaes for a treat. Maeve walked with Charlotte and Liam walked with Rocco & Dimitri

 Tonight we joined Charlotte, Catherine & Gabby and trick or treated around clam point and over flowed our buckets with candy! It was a fun night and kids loved the freedom of ringing the doorbells and receiving tons of candy. Adults enjoyed it too as we were able to sample the candy along our route.

We came back to Bill & Carmelitas for dinner and pajamas and the kids helped pass out the candy to the older trick or treaters. Not sure which was more fun , getting the candy or delivering it to others.

A fun night with good friends.

Twin Bond

I hope their closeness last forever. It melts my heart how much they adore one another and how much Liam wants to always hug and kiss his sister.

Today, on the way home from school I was having a chat with the kids. We were deciding what to do for the afternoon and they were disagreeing. Maeve wants to go to the park and swing and Liam wanted to play with his new Mario Kart. So I was trying to tell them that we can do both things, but we need to take turns etc.

Maeve is in a whining phase when I tell her something she doesn't want to hear. So I said to Maeve,  you need to stop whining when I say something you don’t like. And Liam chimes in and says to Maeve and you need to get better about giving me a morning kiss. I burst out laughing, he means it too!!

He loves her so much--hope they always remain this close!
