New England, hasn't been hit with a Blizzard in two years. We are expected to see 24-30inches of snow with 50mph winds, crazy!. There is a driving ban in affect and everything is closed. People are frantic and nervous, but so many of us are excited to hunker down with a good, ole fashioned Blizzard, as long as we don't lose power. This will be the first Blizzard in our new house......hope I have nothing but FUN to report.
Kids had no school today, so we hit Energy Center for a last chance workout and took kids to splash pool. We came home, played, shoveled, made the first of many snowman, made valentines day boxes, painted and drank hot cocoa....and we are only 5 hours in!
Let the Blizzard begin, Friday February 8 12pm
Frosty 3pm
1st shovel 3pm
Stay TUNED!
SATURDAY MORNING 2feet+ of snow!
All Shoveled out

Playing in the yard

Heather, Roy & Kate arrived at 5pm on Saturday as they lost power and they have been here with us for past 3 night. Kids are loving it and its nice to be with family. Saturday after the storm we played with our neighbors, Kelsey & MacKenzie, and Ken came over for a drink as he helped Karl finish the driveway afterway I gave up 3 hours in. Lisa joined us and we spent the afternoon & evening, drinking, eating and laughing. We all had a great time, kids played so nicely.
Sunday, we went sledding ( forgot the camera) and met our friends Lucy & Hannah, adorable twins who the kids used to swim with at Weymouth Club last year. We sledded by Liberty school, a fun time! You really feel like a kid again.
I have some videos to upload, but I am having some technical issues, hope to get them up here soon so we can remember just how much snow we had....crazy, but FUN!
