6 year olds!

M&L bday was Sept 21st! Nana & Papa were here from Ireland. Kids wanted a bouncy house with their friends and that afternoon we had the family bday party!

This year both kids moved to a new town, started a new school, are making neighborhood friends, lost frint teeth pklus some, are learning to read, learned how to ride a bike & horse. They keep us on our toys. The bond they have in amazing to watch and they purely love one another and yet can drive the other crazy.

Maeve you are my sweet, sensitive girl who always tries your best and always tries to do the right thing. You have become more outgoing since we have moved and make friends very easily. You still get frustrated when friends don't want to play what you want to play and take it personally, but you are working on that and are getting better and more confident. You second guess yourself ( I do too), but when you realize you can do something you are so very proud of yourself. You started Irish Step last year and love it and have really worked hard at it--glad you found an activity that you love. I love the way you giggle,  the way you smile when you hug people and how hard to work at school/homework. But most of all I love how much you want to hug & kiss me and how I am your world and I don't want that to disappear. You tell me everything and I hope you always continue to do so. You love horses and want to be a "horse owner" when you grow up--I hope you continue to have that love for animals. Its been so amazing watching you grow from an itty bitty 2 lb 14oz baby to a 44 lb 6 year old! I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.

Liam, you are my sweet & salty little boy. You have so much love to give and want it back in return. You are very sensitive, but don't like to show that you are. You are a deep thinker and are always pondering life. You always tell Daddy & I that "you ask a lot of questions because you are curious" and that you are. You also tell us that danger in your middle name as you like to push the boundries and see what its like on the other side. You are very athletic and love soccer, basketball & Tball. You were so much fun to watch on the soccer field and how excited you got when you made goals. You tried gymnastics this Fall, but stopped at the end of the trimester and are going to try Karate next and ice skating. You give the biggest squeezes and love to just be loved! Can't believe you are growing up so fast. We are working on your impulse control & hyperactivity and are helping you learn how to regulate your body. You are doing so well--and are really learning how to manage yourself. You are trying so hard at school and are doing very well. I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
