This year Mother's Day was about Karl and I was OK with that given how selfless he is. He has been training to compete in triathlons and the first one was a "mini sprint tri" held in Sudbury. Karl swam 400 yards, biked 7 miles and ran 2.3 miles and he accomplished this in 1 hour 30 seconds. We cheered him on with Lois & Jerry and kids loved watching their Dad race. Liam said when he grows up he wants to race with Dad and Maeve chimed in with "me too, me too".
We spent the rest of the day at Drumlin Farm and then home for a dinner prepped by Karl.
I am the lucky one!
