Mother's Day 2012
What a beautiful, summer-weather, weekend we had-sunny & 80 degrees...Life is good.
Weekend was chock full of activities & there were smiles all around.
Saturday the kids decided they wanted to visit the Zoo and then fly kites at Castle Island. Perfect. Done. They were happy and the weather made us all smile. A day outside was much needed after a rainy two weeks. So much so that driving kids to school on Friday, Liam said " I finally see blue skies in Boston, its been gray on the playground for a really long time".
Sunday we started a new tradition. Girls go out for Brunch and then we all meet up with families for dinner. It was a great balance of me-time and family-time and everyone was happy.
Kids kept wishing me Happy Mother's Day all weekend and presented me with painted, pasta necklaces and a hand painted flower project created at school. I loved it so much I am framing the flowers so I can remember these tiny hands forever.
I wish I could bottle them up for a little longer. Age 4.5 is so darn cute.
